So, I began to preserve and use herbs in various ways: dried, teas, tinctures, poultices, ointments, creams, aromatherapy, etc. My four children rarely saw “the doctor” because I was able to nurse them through nearly every childhood ailment, right through their teens using herbs as nutrients and remedies .
