Lavender Cookies

½ cup butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. dried Lavender flowers
1 cup raw sugar
½ tsp. real Vanilla extract
1 cup unbleached flour
½ cup whole wheat flour
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In medium bowl, cream the butter and sugar
until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, vanilla
and Lavender flowers. Mix well.
Combine the flour and baking powder, and add
to Lavender mixture, stirring until well blended.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned on
edges. Cool on baking sheet for 1 or 2 minutes,
then transfer to rack to finish cooling.
